Best Books of '08?

A lot of places are putting up their picks for best books of 2008. I know that I've had some favorites this year (The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart, How Not to be Popular by Jennifer Ziegler, and Airman by Eoin Colfer to name a few). I know there are still a few weeks of '08 left, but what books would you have on your list? Leave them in the comments!

With High competition in the Tween book department, it is easy to miss the really great ones that might not have been spotted so easily. My sister and I completely agree that David Field's fantasy book "The Fairest Star" is one of the best young love stories out there. It is even part of a Trilogy. A page turner, with lots of humor, twists and turns, keeping you on the edge of your seat.
